Our design process for this Beach Crescent home began with a clear focus on creating a chef-driven kitchen that feels both highly functional and seamlessly integrated into the surrounding living space. We emphasized clean, tailored millwork, professional-grade appliances, and a restrained material palette to support serious cooking without visual clutter. Soft neutral tones and honed surfaces provide a quiet backdrop, while warm wood furnishings and subtle textural contrasts introduce depth and approachability. Sightlines were carefully considered to connect the kitchen, dining, and living areas, allowing the client to cook, host, and engage effortlessly with guests, all while framing expansive views toward Granville Island and the water beyond. The result is a home that balances precision and warmth—designed to perform beautifully while feeling relaxed and inviting.
